Categories
Essential (always on)
Required for sign-in sessions (Supabase auth cookies via @supabase/ssr), security, and storing that you made a consent choice. The Service cannot function correctly without these.
Functional (optional)
Remembers non-essential preferences that improve convenience (for example UI preferences beyond the consent record itself). Off by default until you grant this category.
Analytics (optional)
Helps us understand how the product is used (for example product analytics). Off by default until you grant this category. When denied, analytics tools should remain opted out.
Your choices
On first visit we show a cookie banner. You can accept all optional categories, reject optional categories, or save a custom mix. Essential remains on. Signed-in users may also see preferences under Account. Changing analytics consent opts analytics capturing in or out when that tooling is wired.
Consent choices are stored in the ka_consent cookie (up to about one year) and, when you are signed in, mirrored as consent events in our database.
